Uttaranchal Tourism

        Burn it, bury it or carry it out

           be a invisible traveler.

 It will be your best tribute to Himalayas.

The fortune of him who is sitting, sits;

            it rises when he rises;

            it sleeps when he sleeps;

            it moves when he moves.

  Therefore,  O!   Rohita    wander.

 (Indra to Rohita in Aitariya Brahimana)

Since  ancient  times Sagas,  Sanyasis   philosophers,  nature    lovers    and common   people    used   to     visit   Uttaranchal  with one or  other objective. However,   whosoever   visited   these   panoramic     hills   and      mountains,   admired    the   beauty and serenity of Uttaranchal.   Adi  Guru  Shankarachraya,  Swami   Vivekananda,       Mahatma  Gandhi,    Tagore,  Swami  Ram Tirath, Jawahar Lal Nehru,    Udai     Shankar   visited    Uttaranchal  and    impressed  with  the  majestic  powers   of  these    places. Uttaranchal has to offer every thing for everyone. Infrastructure is being developed to provide better services. With the improved facilities    of  transportation, accommodation  and  organized tourism, now  the doors of Uttaranchal  are  open to common people and everyone can enjoy the gift of nature.
